Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Hamdani got the match started through his kick off. Karim Kensi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from El Belkacem in the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, South Elgin FC's Karim Kensi got control of the ball when Maïssa Bourebbou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karim Kensi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Belkacem in the 10th minute of play. Daniel Hamdani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmed Feraoun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Fadel Benhabiles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and South Elgin FC's Karim Kensi didn't even have to move. El Belkacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Daniel Hamdani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Elgin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Hamdani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Potosi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maïssa Bourebbou to maneuver through the defense. François Zitouni struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Karim Kensi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potosi. The supporters of Potosi booed when South Elgin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fodil Metref didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Daniel Hamdani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Elgin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potosi the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when El Belkacem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. François Zitouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Kensi having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Daniel Hamdani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potosi's Ahmed Feraoun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Potosi's Walid Iles got a free kick in the 57th minute. Karim Kensi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Belkacem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. François Zitouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, one of Potosi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jean-Michel Barbarossa shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Potosi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Daniel Hamdani scored to the left of an out of position Ahmed Feraoun, making the score, 1-1. Smail Matmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, South Elgin FC's Fodil Metref got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling El Belkacem in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karim Kensi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walid Iles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Karim Kensi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, South Elgin FC's Abderrachid Sad got a free kick in the 83rd minute. El Belkacem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Kensi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Belkacem in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by François Zitouni in the 95th minute of play forced South Elgin FC's goalkeeper Karim Kensi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Daniel Hamdani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Feraoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
