Noureddine Reda Madouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Abrika having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Ali Laref cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Abd al-Asis Bensaoula was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abd al-Asis Bensaoula stood somewhat misplaced when Ali Laref came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 40 minute. In the 45th minute of the match Ahmed Aboulker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abd al-Asis Bensaoula skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Safy Nekkar in the 48th minute of play forced AC Brasileirinhos's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Bensaoula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Safy Nekkar was the one to do the kick off. Karim Dziri was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. Smail Abrika came out of the goal and Nourredine Benida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ali Laref had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Ali Laref managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pretty Bayou AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Laref was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the AC Brasileirinhos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pretty Bayou AFC.
