Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. El Oussalah started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Chadl in the 4th minute of play forced Highview AFC's goalkeeper Fathi Sami Yachir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohammad Dahleb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fathi Mérah-Benida's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game El Oussalah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Bloomfield Township's Mohammad Dahleb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Mezdad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fathi Sami Yachir having to interfere. Tahar Lacen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fathi Sami Yachir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. West Bloomfield Township's Zīn ud-Dīn Chadl got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Fathi Mérah-Benida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Highview AFC's zone, Ali Mezdad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fathi Sami Yachir came out of the goal and Ali Mezdad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Mezdad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cheb Mimoun fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Bloomfield Township's protests and gave Cheb Mimoun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Highview AFC booed when West Bloomfield Township was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheb Mimoun didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zīn ud-Dīn Chadl to make the kick off. Fathi Mérah-Benida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Dahleb having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tahar Lacen during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, West Bloomfield Township's Tahar Lacen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Mohammad Dahleb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fathi Mérah-Benida in the 68th minute. If Zīn ud-Dīn Chadl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Mezdad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fathi Sami Yachir having to interfere. In the 79th minute Zīn ud-Dīn Chadl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fathi Sami Yachir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fathi Sami Yachir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Mezdad in the 81st minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mohammad Dahleb, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. There was no doubt that West Bloomfield Township were the better team. West Bloomfield Township's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
