A collision led to Tafuna getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Salah Ouadah hit a great ball. Mohammed Kafi lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. After some careless play in the Tafuna defense, Tedj Belhagj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abderrahmane Azzizi-Kettab. The Tafuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abderrahmane Azzizi-Kettab should have stopped the shot. Salah Ouadah kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The SHIRO CF fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when SHIRO CF's Tedj Belhagj looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SHIRO CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakhdar Cerbah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SHIRO CF's Lakhdar Cerbah got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tedj Belhagj made a kick off. Abdel Karim Djahnine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abderrahmane Azzizi-Kettab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Ihidjaten, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Lakhdar Cerbah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Abderrahmane Azzizi-Kettab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdel Karim Djahnine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrahmane Azzizi-Kettab having to interfere. If Tedj Belhagj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Lakhdar Cerbah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abdel Karim Djahnine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelaziz Ben Bella fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 82nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. When the match was over SHIRO CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tafuna throughout the match.
