An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Djaout in the 21st minute of play forced Rogers's goalkeeper Walid Zakaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelhamid Ouadah hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Abdel Amara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Karim Fahima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Fergani hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Abdelmalek Sadaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rogers's Walid Zakaria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bendjedid Feraoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walid Zakaria came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Praia FC's Bendjedid Feraoun. But to his dismay, Bendjedid Feraoun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Praia FC's Bendjedid Feraoun in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rogers's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rabah Cohen to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Rogers's Abdel Amara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karim Fahima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute Bendjedid Feraoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walid Zakaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rogers's goalkeeper Walid Zakaria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelmalek Sadaoui got free with Walid Zakaria in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Praia FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Halim Mesbah hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Rogers's Rabah Cohen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karim Fahima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Praia FC's Karim Fahima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Amara in the 70th minute of play. When Rabah Cohen came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rogers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rabah Cohen couldn't finish the play. Bendjedid Feraoun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Walid Zakaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abdelmalek Sadaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelmalek Sadaoui didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 85th minute. Praia FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendjedid Feraoun in the 88th minute of play forced Rogers's goalkeeper Walid Zakaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdelmalek Sadaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
