Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Kassel Ulansi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anthar Amri kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Abdelhamid Dziri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walid Zakaria having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Rogers's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelaziz El Ouafi came free, but Walid Zakaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Kassel Ulansi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Amara, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Abdelhamid Dziri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walid Zakaria. Rogers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelhamid Dziri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Karim Djura fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cedartown's protests and gave Karim Djura a yellow card for diving instead.
