Nassim Belkheir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Ouyahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Biscayne FC booed when Lancaster FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. After the first half Biscayne FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mohamed Ben Amara to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Lancaster FC got a freekick which was hit by Nassim Merbah. Amrani Boulmerka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mahieddine Hadjadj in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Lancaster FC's goalkeeper Amrani Boulmerka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahieddine Hadjadj. Amrani Boulmerka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mohamed Ben Amara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tayeb Madouni came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Lancaster FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayeb Madouni couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lancaster FC's goalkeeper Amrani Boulmerka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Biscayne FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Biscayne FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
