The Lake Shore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lake Shore reached it. After having played for 36 minutes, Hamid Zaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Shore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Zaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Riverland's Ahmed Belaout got a free kick in the 39th minute. A collision led to Lake Shore getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Benyamina to strike the kick off in the second half. Lake Shore's Muhammad Zeghdoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Baroudi in the 55th minute of play. Yazid Baroudi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Muhammad Zeghdoud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riverland's goalkeeper Lili Drioueche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cheb Ulansi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Yazid Baroudi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Zeghdoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muhammad Zeghdoud came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Riverland's Mohamed Benyamina. But to his dismay, Mohamed Benyamina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Hamid Zaoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Lili Drioueche made a huge save. Muhammad Zeghdoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazid Baroudi in the 83rd minute of the match. When Fodil Amirouche fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riverland's protests and gave Fodil Amirouche a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lake Shore booed when Riverland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fodil Amirouche didn't get a good kick on the ball.
