Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fodil Hasni got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Jewett City got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Otman. Edmond Bouteflika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Smail Kouici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cherif Doutté was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 minutes of play, Edison's Edmond Bouteflika made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cherif Doutté was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salah Saïd-Guerni made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Medjadi Daham sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Medjadi Daham could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Salah Saïd-Guerni however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmond Bouteflika in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cherif Doutté saved Jewett City from getting behind. Cherif Doutté didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Edison's Edmond Bouteflika shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Jewett City getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Medjadi Daham hit a great ball. Edmond Bouteflika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Edison were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmond Bouteflika stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salah Saïd-Guerni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Hasni, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Smail Kouici came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cherif Doutté could save by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Smail Kouici got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edmond Bouteflika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cherif Doutté having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Edison's Lili Kader got a free kick in the 70th minute. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Edmond Bouteflika sped through Jewett City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cherif Doutté. Cherif Doutté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmond Bouteflika in the 79th minute of play. If Fodil Hasni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Saïd-Guerni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Michel Khelaifia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Smail Kouici got free with Cherif Doutté in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Fodil Hasni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jewett City's supporters rose to their feet, but Fodil Hasni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salah Saïd-Guerni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Michel Khelaifia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jewett City booed when Edison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Matmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Jean-Michel Khelaifia made a precise shot to the right of Salah Saïd-Guerni. Edison's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Edison's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
