Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Owosso FC's Safy Mimoun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Owosso FC's Mohamed Sakhri in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nordine Baroudi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Safy Mimoun's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Safy Mimoun struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nordine Baroudi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Owosso FC. Rachid Bouazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nordine Baroudi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leisuretowne's Abdelaziz Benchenaa got a free kick in the 26th minute. Rachid Madjer in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salim Saïfi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Safy Mimoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Souad Megharia's late challenge caught a Owosso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Souad Megharia helped the player get up and apologised. Souad Megharia hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Sakhri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nordine Baroudi was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 42 minutes, Ahmed Cohen-Tannoudji mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leisuretowne and the Owosso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Leisuretowne got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Cohen-Tannoudji. After a defensive mix-up in Leisuretowne's zone, Mohamed Sakhri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nordine Baroudi came out of the goal and Mohamed Sakhri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes Leisuretowne got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Benchenaa. Mohamed Sakhri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismaël Messaoudi to make the kick off. Safy Mimoun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Safy Mimoun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nordine Baroudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Safy Mimoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nordine Baroudi having to interfere. The supporters of Leisuretowne booed when Owosso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Baba Ali Mammeri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nadir Ouyahia, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mohamed Sakhri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nordine Baroudi. That made the score 0-4 in the 74 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Rachid Madjer notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Owosso FC's Salim Saïfi. Salim Saïfi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the game, Safy Mimoun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nordine Baroudi. Safy Mimoun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Leisuretowne's Ismaël Messaoudi got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Owosso FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
