The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hakim Bezzaz came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Cocoa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakim Bezzaz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Momence's Cheb Boudjedra got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hicham Hadj Aïssa in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodil Abdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Faouzi Kheyari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amar Larfaoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Amine Djahnine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Momence's Fodil Abdi threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hicham Hadj Aïssa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th match minute, Momence was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amine Djahnine to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodil Abdi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amine Djahnine in the 32nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud to make the kick off. Hicham Hadj Aïssa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fodil Abdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amine Djahnine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Larfaoui having to interfere. Hicham Hadj Aïssa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fodil Abdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cocoa's zone, Amine Djahnine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodil Abdi came out of the goal and Amine Djahnine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Momence booed when Cocoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fodil Meniri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Amine Djahnine made a precise shot to the right of Fodil Abdi. Cocoa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 76th minute of the match, Rachid Baba Ali Adjaoud tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amar Larfaoui saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 94 minutes into the match, Hakim Bezzaz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Momence's Amar Larfaoui. Amar Larfaoui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Momence were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cocoa for a fine match.
