Ahmed Amsallem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelnasser Aziz in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Kassel Menguellet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ahmed Amsallem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmed Amsallem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kassel Menguellet in the 16th minute of play. Port Townsend's Ahmed Amsallem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelnasser Aziz in the 19th minute of play. Nassim Meskine made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ismaël Amara sent off a good shot on target. Pooler were furious when Hamid Kaci Said was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 25th minute, one of Pooler:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pooler. In the 32nd minute, Ahmed Camus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Nouara Boutella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rachid Messaoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Amsallem having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Port Townsend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chadli Mimoun to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Kassel Menguellet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Amsallem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd minute, El Abdi made a precise shot to the right of Nassim Meskine. Pooler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 57th minute, Kassel Menguellet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmed Amsallem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Pooler's Rachid Messaoudi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmed Amsallem. That made the score 1-3 after 63 minutes of play. Ismaël Amara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassim Meskine having to interfere. Kassel Menguellet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kassel Menguellet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by El Abdi in the 89th minute of play forced Pooler's goalkeeper Nassim Meskine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Amsallem made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Kassel Menguellet sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Pooler getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sid Ahmed Benchenaa hit a great ball. Pooler's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
