Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferhat Madjer kicked off to start the match. Mohamed Kharroubi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Smail Meskine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Ferhat Madjer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Smail Meskine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Kharroubi in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when El Menguellet got free with Jussef Ben Djamel in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, El Menguellet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jussef Ben Djamel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Ames AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Abdelkader Assad hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see El Lago's Abderraouf Lamine in action when he in the 24th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 25 played minutes Ames AFC got a freekick which was hit by Menad Baroudi. When El Lago's Yazid Gourion in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ames AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Ames AFC defense, Yazid Gourion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Smail Meskine. The Ames AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Smail Meskine should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes El Lago got a freekick which was hit by Rabah Hamruche. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Kharroubi in the 41st minute of play forced Ames AFC's goalkeeper Smail Meskine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jussef Ben Djamel was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Ferhat Madjer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferhat Madjer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Mohamed Kharroubi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Smail Meskine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Kharroubi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes El Lago got a freekick which was hit by Abderraouf Lamine. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhat Madjer in the 59th minute of play forced El Lago's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Djamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yazid Gourion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Smail Meskine made a huge save. Ames AFC's El Menguellet got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Ferhat Madjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jussef Ben Djamel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Kharroubi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Meskine having to interfere. Smail Meskine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Kharroubi in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Ames AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelkader Assad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Kharroubi in the 81st minute of play forced Ames AFC's goalkeeper Smail Meskine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ames AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Yahia Cherfa hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Mohamed Kharroubi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Lago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ames AFC the free kick. The supporters of Ames AFC booed when El Lago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Kharroubi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ames AFC's zone, Mohamed Kharroubi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Smail Meskine came out of the goal and Mohamed Kharroubi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yazid Gourion in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Smail Meskine, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Ames AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rafik Aboulker hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Ames AFC's goalkeeper Smail Meskine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yazid Gourion. After 94 minutes of play, Ames AFC's El Menguellet made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jussef Ben Djamel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ames AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Lago had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
