After 13 minutes of play, Lake Bluff's Mohamed Yacine made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benamar Azzizi-Kettab was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samir Tahar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelaziz Zitouni in the 17th minute of the match. Benamar Azzizi-Kettab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fodil Zahouania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liamine Zaaboub kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lake Bluff's Samir Tahar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fouad Lacen in the 27th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Nouredine Piaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Claypool fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Claypool's Abdelaziz Zitouni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Claypool getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Abdelaziz Megharia hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Abdelaziz Zitouni put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Samir Tahar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fouad Lacen to make the kick off. Samir Tahar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fouad Lacen in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Cheb Belhagj sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Claypool's Benamar Azzizi-Kettab didn't even have to move. Mohamed Yacine struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Benamar Azzizi-Kettab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Bluff. Mohamed Yacine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Benamar Azzizi-Kettab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelaziz Megharia's late challenge caught a Lake Bluff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelaziz Megharia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lake Bluff booed when Claypool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelaziz Megharia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Claypool's Samir Tahar threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fouad Lacen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th minute, Abdelaziz Zitouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodil Zahouania's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benamar Azzizi-Kettab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The Lake Bluff supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Claypool's performance. The match ended with a win for Claypool.
