Jean Khaled made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamal Boufroura in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Menad Drioueche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samir Djebar was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Diriangen FC's Jean Khaled proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Diriangen FC from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Djamal Boufroura to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamal Boufroura in the 70th minute of play forced Diriangen FC's goalkeeper Jean Khaled to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cambridge FC's Djamal Boufroura got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Menad Drioueche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samir Djebar. The goal made the score 1-2. Diriangen FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
