In the 7th minute, Tayeb Radjef ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Boutella was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, Harahan AFC's Mohamed Boutella got control of the ball when Hamid Adjani tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Sugar Land's Mohamed Boutella threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tayeb Radjef, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hamid Adjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Boutella having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Sugar Land's Tayeb Radjef made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Boutella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nordine Bensaïd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mahmoud Mesbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Sugar Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fathi Larbes to maneuver through the defense. Lakhdar Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Harahan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tayeb Radjef came free, but Mohamed Boutella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tayeb Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sugar Land's Tayeb Radjef got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamid Adjani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Harahan AFC's Chadli Benflis got a free kick in the 47th minute. Zoheir Soltani, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tayeb Radjef made a kick off. Sugar Land's Mahmoud Mesbah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sugar Land from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Sugar Land getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mouloud Boulmerka hit a great ball. Mohamed Boutella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayeb Radjef in the 61st minute of play. Lakhdar Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Boutella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Adjani in the 71st minute of the match. Hamid Adjani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mohamed Boutella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Harahan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jussef Belhagj to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Boutella came out of the goal and Tayeb Radjef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Hamid Adjani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohamed Boutella. Harahan AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamid Adjani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayeb Radjef in the 94th minute of play forced Harahan AFC's goalkeeper Mohamed Boutella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Hamid Adjani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Boutella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Harahan AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sugar Land.
