After a rather tough play, Ahoskie's Abdelnasser Morceli got a free kick in the 16th minute. Cheikha Zitouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Dahar having to interfere. Cheb Harkouk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Findlay AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ahoskie fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Mehdi Bentaala was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Ahoskie getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Abdelnasser Morceli hit a great ball. With his leg Kamel Dahar managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Findlay AFC's Mehdi Bentaala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abdelnasser Morceli charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelnasser Morceli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdelnasser Morceli kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Cheikha Zitouni made the kick off in the second half. Ismaïl Azzizi-Kettab in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismaïl Azzizi-Kettab got free with Cheikha Boufroura in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Mamaar Mezair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahoskie's Kamel Dahar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Said Amsallem in the 82nd minute of play. Kamel Dahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Bentaala, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Mehdi Bentaala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kamel Dahar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
