If Meziane Mammeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes of play, Point Pleasant AFC's Mohamed Belkacem made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hemza Zaaf was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Meziane Mammeri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Point Pleasant AFC's zone, Menad Zaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nadir Saïdi-Sief came out of the goal and Menad Zaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hemza Zaaf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meziane Mammeri, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hemza Zaaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meziane Mammeri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Point Pleasant AFC's zone, Mebarek Merbah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nadir Saïdi-Sief came out of the goal and Mebarek Merbah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Meziane Mammeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemza Zaaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. East Sandwich AFC's Mebarek Merbah got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hemza Zaaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Belkacem in the 46th minute of the match. If Mohamed Belkacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Meziane Mammeri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bouabdellah Haddou, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Meziane Mammeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, East Sandwich AFC's goalkeeper Hemza Zaaf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Meziane Mammeri. East Sandwich AFC's Hemza Zaaf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save East Sandwich AFC from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Point Pleasant AFC's Bouabdellah Haddou broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Meziane Mammeri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Point Pleasant AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Meziane Mammeri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemza Zaaf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mebarek Merbah came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the East Sandwich AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mebarek Merbah couldn't finish the play. If Mohamed Belkacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, East Sandwich AFC's Mebarek Merbah got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, East Sandwich AFC's goalkeeper Hemza Zaaf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Belkacem. Mohamed Belkacem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hemza Zaaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Point Pleasant AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
