Point Pleasant AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mehdi Bentaala struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Nadir Saïdi-Sief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Findlay AFC. If Meziane Mammeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nadir Saïdi-Sief didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehdi Bentaala went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nadir Saïdi-Sief showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheikha Zitouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nadir Saïdi-Sief came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Findlay AFC's Cheikha Zitouni. But to his dismay, Cheikha Zitouni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Mehdi Bentaala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehdi Bentaala might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nadir Saïdi-Sief. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehdi Bentaala ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When Findlay AFC's Cheikha Zitouni in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Point Pleasant AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Cheikha Zitouni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Point Pleasant AFC's Nadir Saïdi-Sief was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cheikha Zitouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nadir Saïdi-Sief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madjid Mecherara kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mehdi Bentaala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nadir Saïdi-Sief came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehdi Bentaala slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 62nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Sid Ahmed Ziani put in a rough tackle. 66 minutes into the game, one of Point Pleasant AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Abdelaziz Touhami walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Findlay AFC's Cheikha Zitouni was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mehdi Bentaala struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nadir Saïdi-Sief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Findlay AFC. After having played for 87 minutes, Mohamed Belkacem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Point Pleasant AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Belkacem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehdi Bentaala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Point Pleasant AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mokdad Djamel to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Point Pleasant AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cheikha Zitouni came free, but Nadir Saïdi-Sief reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mohamed Belkacem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Findlay AFC played a much better game than Point Pleasant AFC and deserved their victory. The Point Pleasant AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
