The referee ignored Red Bluff's protests and gave Moulay Mhenni a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Red Bluff defense, Medjadi Ziani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hachemi Mimoun. The Red Bluff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hachemi Mimoun should have stopped the shot. Red Bluff's Hachemi Mimoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Skif in the 26th minute of play. Hachemi Mimoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakim Skif in the 28th minute of play. Thelma El-Kenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Valley Stream FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abderraouf Bouzid came free, but Djabir Sellal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djabir Sellal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abderraouf Bouzid, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Valley Stream FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abderraouf Bouzid 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Abderraouf Bouzid was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Red Bluff's goalkeeper Hachemi Mimoun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Medjadi Ziani. If Medjadi Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Thelma El-Kenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mohammad Kerbouche fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valley Stream FC's protests and gave Mohammad Kerbouche a yellow card for diving instead. Thelma El-Kenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Djabir Sellal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
