Crystal Lake FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djamel Said was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djamel Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Djamel Said ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nasreddine Bahari was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 40 minutes, Fathi Djebar made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Crystal Lake FC's Lakhdar Mansouri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Crystal Lake FC booed when Huntington Woods was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadir Dahar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th match minute, Huntington Woods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fathi Djebar to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hocine Bezzaz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lakhdar Mansouri, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 2-1. In the 59th minute, Huntington Woods's René Khaled seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed René Khaled the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Huntington Woods protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and René Khaled had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. If Kamel Massi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Djamel Said got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Huntington Woods's Nasreddine Bahari got control of the ball when Kamel Massi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 70 played minutes Crystal Lake FC got a freekick which was hit by Toufik Bezzaz. Huntington Woods's Karim Macias couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Crystal Lake FC. Nourredine Mammeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lakhdar Mansouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Djamel Said tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nasreddine Bahari saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nourredine Mammeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute.
