With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salah Abrika prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Abdelaziz Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nourredine Mammeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Fathi Djebar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bayou Cane's Salah Abrika. Salah Abrika was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Bayou Cane defense, Fathi Djebar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salah Abrika. The Bayou Cane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salah Abrika should have stopped the shot. Nasreddine Bahari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelaziz Bouteflika in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fathi Djebar to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Bayou Cane's goal looked a bit too open when Nourredine Mammeri came free, but Salah Abrika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nourredine Mammeri got free with Salah Abrika in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhamid Saïd-Guerni in the 59th minute of play forced Huntington Woods's goalkeeper Nasreddine Bahari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fathi Djebar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Abdelhamid Saïd-Guerni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Abrika made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Nourredine Mammeri sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st match minute, Bayou Cane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Gallaire to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bayou Cane getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Smail Gallaire hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, René Khaled fired a really elegant long shot, but Salah Abrika threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Fathi Djebar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salah Abrika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fathi Djebar in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Huntington Woods got a corner. Bayou Cane's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. René Khaled ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abdelhamid Saïd-Guerni took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nasreddine Bahari. Nasreddine Bahari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Bayou Cane supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huntington Woods's performance. The match ended with a win for Huntington Woods.
