Rachid Benchenaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mouloud Aboulker, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Mouloud Aboulker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rachid Benchenaa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Yahia Menad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Mourad Cavalli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bottineau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fort Hood FC the free kick. With a little luck, Bottineau's Madjid Hima got control of the ball when Robert Gourion tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Farid Zitouni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rachid Benchenaa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Bottineau were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Menad to make the kick off. Charles Megharia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Benchenaa having to interfere. With a little luck, Fort Hood FC's Rachid Benchenaa got control of the ball when Mouloud Aboulker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rachid Benchenaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Megharia in the 57th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Fort Hood FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Boulebda. Charles Megharia succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Bottineau's Mouloud Aboulker got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Fort Hood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belaid Kharroubi to maneuver through the defense. In the 75thth minute of the game Robert Gourion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bottineau's Madjid Hima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rachid Benchenaa made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Mouloud Aboulker sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Bottineau's Charles Megharia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Benchenaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bottineau's Madjid Hima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Gourion in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Charles Megharia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rachid Benchenaa was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 91st minute Ali Menad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madjid Hima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bottineau's Madjid Hima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Gourion in the 92nd minute of play. Fort Hood FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Charles Megharia scored to the left of an out of position Rachid Benchenaa, making the score, 0-3.
