Tayeb Belkacem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Djeziri having to interfere. Rabah Moussa, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Karim Mazzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rabah Kader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Mimoun having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Abdelnacer Achiou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Biondy Home and the Ocean Grove AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Biondy Home's Abdelnacer Achiou got a free kick in the 40th minute. Tayeb Djeziri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayeb Belkacem in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ocean Grove AFC's zone, Abdelnacer Achiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Mimoun came out of the goal and Abdelnacer Achiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Ocean Grove AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Abdel Seghiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayeb Belkacem struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Tayeb Djeziri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocean Grove AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdel Seghiri got free with Tayeb Djeziri in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abderraouf Horr during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ocean Grove AFC's Rabah Mimoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Kader in the 62nd minute of play. Rabah Mimoun came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Biondy Home's Karim Mazzid. But to his dismay, Karim Mazzid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Biondy Home's Tayeb Djeziri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayeb Belkacem in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Biondy Home's Tayeb Djeziri got control of the ball when Abdel Seghiri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tayeb Belkacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ocean Grove AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
