After a rather tough play, FC Bambo Master's Mehdi Prévost got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Mouloud Aboulker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Moussa in the 4th minute of the match. Mehdi Hemdani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mouloud Aboulker having to make a save. If Hocine Moussa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayeb Matoub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nabil Matmour in the 14th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Mehdi Prévost was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bambo Master's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gothenburg FC the free kick. Mouloud Aboulker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehdi Hemdani's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Abdelhamid Lamine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Abdelhamid Lamine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 played minutes FC Bambo Master got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Djebbour. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehdi Hemdani during the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Mehdi Hemdani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gothenburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehdi Hemdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mouloud Aboulker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Bambo Master getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ismaël Otman hit a great ball. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bambo Master's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karim Nekkar was slow to take the kick. During this time Gothenburg FC's players had a chance to rest. Tayeb Matoub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelhamid Lamine went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Abdelhamid Lamine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Bambo Master booed when Gothenburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Nekkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Nabil Matmour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Matoub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
