Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdelaziz Sad started the match with the kick off. Frantz Labi might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bouzid Mimoun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frantz Labi ran back to his position shaking his head. Bouzid Mimoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelaziz Sad in the 5th minute of play. Frantz Labi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bouzid Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Surprise getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rafik Zoheir Matoub hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Rafik Khabatou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bouzid Mimoun skillfully saved the ball. Orland Hills AFC's Abdelaziz Sad got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelaziz Sad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes, Abderrahmane Fillali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orland Hills AFC and the Surprise players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Orland Hills AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderrahmane Fillali to maneuver through the defense. Chakib Belhadj struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Noureddine Mohamed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surprise. Assia Raï fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Mohamed having to interfere. When Assia Raï came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Surprise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Assia Raï couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Orland Hills AFC's goalkeeper Noureddine Mohamed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Assia Raï. Noureddine Mohamed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chakib Belhadj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Orland Hills AFC's Abdelaziz Sad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bouzid Mimoun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Chakib Belhadj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Noureddine Mohamed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Orland Hills AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chakib Belhadj came free, but Noureddine Mohamed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chakib Belhadj in the 67th minute of play forced Orland Hills AFC's goalkeeper Noureddine Mohamed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelaziz Sad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Chakib Belhadj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noureddine Mohamed was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bouzid Mimoun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelaziz Sad in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Orland Hills AFC's Abdelaziz Sad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bouzid Mimoun. Bouzid Mimoun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 86 minutes into the match, Orland Hills AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chakib Belhadj came free, but Noureddine Mohamed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cheikha Belloumi fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orland Hills AFC's protests and gave Cheikha Belloumi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Surprise booed when Orland Hills AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheikha Belloumi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Surprise getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Chakib Belhadj hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Surprise's Chakib Belhadj fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Noureddine Mohamed was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Surprise's zone, Frantz Labi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bouzid Mimoun came out of the goal and Frantz Labi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
