Camel Mérah-Benida kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Dahlonega AFC's Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Dahlonega AFC from getting a goal against them. Salim Lacen took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief. Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Abd al-Asis Benzine came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Buffalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abd al-Asis Benzine couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Camel Mérah-Benida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Daho Cherrad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yacine Madouni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reda Zouba went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute, Salim Lacen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Lacen in the 40th minute of play forced Dahlonega AFC's goalkeeper Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Yacine Madouni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rabah Zaaboub in the 51st minute. Rabah Zaaboub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Abd al-Asis Benzine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buffalo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abd al-Asis Benzine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Salim Lacen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Abd al-Asis Benzine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dahlonega AFC's Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abd al-Asis Benzine's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Rabah Zaaboub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Dahlonega AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lazhar Morceli hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Salim Lacen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salim Lacen in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief saved Dahlonega AFC from getting behind. Salim Lacen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief having to interfere. Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abd al-Asis Benzine in the 86th minute of play. Jean-Baptiste Saïdi-Sief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd al-Asis Benzine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Buffalo's Yacine Madouni got control of the ball when Rabah Zaaboub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rabah Zaaboub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Yacine Madouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Buffalo's Abd al-Asis Benzine got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Dahlonega AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dahlonega AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
