Sakut Tunçdağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Medjadi Cavalli in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abderaouf Lacarne saved Hawthorn Woods from getting behind. Medjadi Cavalli took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abderaouf Lacarne. Abderaouf Lacarne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Abderaouf Lacarne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chakib Al-Jazairia went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Hawthorn Woods getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nadir Assad hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Medjadi Cavalli sped through Hawthorn Woods's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abderaouf Lacarne. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nadir Assad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Medjadi Cavalli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Abderaouf Lacarne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Hawthorn Woods's goal looked a bit too open when Medjadi Cavalli came free, but Abderaouf Lacarne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hawthorn Woods's Abderaouf Lacarne got control of the ball when Belmadi Doutté tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abderaouf Lacarne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noureddine Ziani in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Belmadi Doutté was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purples's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hawthorn Woods the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Belmadi Doutté hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Hawthorn Woods's goal looked a bit too open when Noureddine Ziani came free, but Abderaouf Lacarne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Medjadi Cavalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Hawthorn Woods's Abderaouf Lacarne got control of the ball when Chakib Al-Jazairia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Medjadi Cavalli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purples's supporters crossed their fingers, but Medjadi Cavalli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abderaouf Lacarne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medjadi Cavalli in the 80th minute of the match. Purples's Medjadi Cavalli managed to work through Hawthorn Woods's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Medjadi Cavalli dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Purples's Yacine Metref was substituted for Chakib Al-Jazairia. In the 87th minute, Sid Ahmed Abdelghani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Purples getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Charles Touhami hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Purples's Abderaouf Lacarne threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Medjadi Cavalli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abderaouf Lacarne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belmadi Doutté in the 91st minute. Fodil Amsallem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sakut Tunçdağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Hawthorn Woods's goalkeeper Abderaouf Lacarne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Medjadi Cavalli. The Hawthorn Woods fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Purples were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
