He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Purples reached it. Pevely AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Medjadi Cavalli scored to the left of an out of position Karim Mekhloufi, making the score, 1-0. Karim Mekhloufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medjadi Cavalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chakib Al-Jazairia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Karim Mekhloufi made a huge save. Medjadi Cavalli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karim Mekhloufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medjadi Cavalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the game, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Chadl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pevely AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purples the free kick. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pevely AFC! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Purples. Mohamed Raho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Karim Mekhloufi. 3-0. Djamel Djamel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Chakib Al-Jazairia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Mekhloufi having to interfere. Karim Mekhloufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nouara Boudiaf in the 66th minute of the match. Noureddine Ziani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karim Mekhloufi having to make a save. Purples made a substitution. Yacine Metref replaced Chakib Al-Jazairia. A collision led to Pevely AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Djamel Djamel hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play, Purples's Medjadi Cavalli made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karim Mekhloufi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Medjadi Cavalli came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Purples fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Medjadi Cavalli couldn't finish the play. Noureddine Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Mekhloufi having to interfere. A collision led to Pevely AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Djamel Djamel hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Medjadi Cavalli in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Mekhloufi saved Pevely AFC from getting behind. Ahmed Khendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Karim Mekhloufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Medjadi Cavalli in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Mekhloufi saved Pevely AFC from getting behind. Purples walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
