Chadli Djebar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Rachid Menguellet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franklin Lakes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Kateb Kouri came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Franklin Lakes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kateb Kouri couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kalispell FC's Mouloud Madjer got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rachid Menguellet had several of the Kalispell FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Rabah Hemdani as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kateb Kouri in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rabah Hemdani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rachid Menguellet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kateb Kouri struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rabah Hemdani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franklin Lakes. In the 28th match minute, Kalispell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Madjer to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Franklin Lakes's Kader Abbas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Kalispell FC's Rabah Hemdani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Kalispell FC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Kalispell FC's goalkeeper Rabah Hemdani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rachid Menguellet. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kateb Kouri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franklin Lakes's supporters rose to their feet, but Kateb Kouri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rabah Hemdani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Menguellet got free with Rabah Hemdani in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Rabah Raï had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafik Zoheir Mansouri. Franklin Lakes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rabah Raï was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rabah Raï to strike the kick off in the second half. Rabah Raï might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafik Zoheir Mansouri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rabah Raï ran back to his position shaking his head. After 54 played minutes Kalispell FC got a freekick which was hit by Chadli Allalou. Rabah Hemdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Menguellet, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Kalispell FC's Ferhat Nima got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kalispell FC's zone, Kateb Kouri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Hemdani came out of the goal and Kateb Kouri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Smail Matmour hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Franklin Lakes were furious when Noureddine Khadra was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 74 played minutes Kalispell FC got a freekick which was hit by Soltani Makkeb. 76 minutes into the game, Rachid Menguellet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Rabah Hemdani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kader Abbas in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rabah Hemdani saved Kalispell FC from getting behind. After 82 minutes of play, Kalispell FC's Chadli Djebar made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafik Zoheir Mansouri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 84 minutes, Rachid Menguellet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franklin Lakes and the Kalispell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Chadli Djebar came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kalispell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chadli Djebar couldn't finish the play. Kalispell FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
