After a defensive mix-up in Kalispell FC's zone, Nadir Assad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Hemdani came out of the goal and Nadir Assad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Hawthorn Woods's Mohamed Bensaoula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rabah Hemdani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Nadir Assad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hawthorn Woods and the Kalispell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hawthorn Woods's Nadir Assad got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Hawthorn Woods's goalkeeper Abderaouf Lacarne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chadli Djebar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chadli Djebar got free with Abderaouf Lacarne in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chadli Djebar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Abderaouf Lacarne made a huge save. Hawthorn Woods's Abderaouf Lacarne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Raï in the 37th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Hawthorn Woods's Nadir Assad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rabah Hemdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Fodil Amsallem came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Hawthorn Woods fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fodil Amsallem couldn't finish the play. The Kalispell FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hawthorn Woods were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nadir Assad made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mouloud Madjer in the 56th minute of play forced Hawthorn Woods's goalkeeper Abderaouf Lacarne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abderaouf Lacarne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadli Djebar in the 59th minute of the match. When Nadir Assad came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Hawthorn Woods fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nadir Assad couldn't finish the play. Mouloud Madjer hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Mohamed Bensaoula sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kalispell FC's Rabah Hemdani didn't even have to move. In the 68th minute Chadli Djebar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderaouf Lacarne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
