Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kamel Ouadah made the kick off which started today's match. Kamel Ouadah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Slimane Hamid Brahima came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Sparlingville FC's Khalida Zeghdoud. But to his dismay, Khalida Zeghdoud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. New Rochelle's Slimane Hamid Brahima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save New Rochelle from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chakib Zahouania in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slimane Hamid Brahima saved New Rochelle from getting behind. Khalida Zeghdoud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmed Mohamed hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Fodil Benbitour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelnacer Larbes in the 29th minute of the match. Khalida Zeghdoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slimane Hamid Brahima having to interfere. Fodil Benbitour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasser Brahimi in the 40th minute of the match. Nasser Brahimi might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodil Benbitour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nasser Brahimi ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Sparlingville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Ouadah came free, but Fodil Benbitour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Chakib Zahouania made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, New Rochelle's Ali Bougherra got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Chakib Zahouania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Slimane Hamid Brahima was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. If Khalida Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. New Rochelle's Slimane Hamid Brahima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalida Zeghdoud in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Kamel Ouadah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Chakib Zahouania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khalida Zeghdoud struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Slimane Hamid Brahima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sparlingville FC. After 70 played minutes New Rochelle got a freekick which was hit by Abdelnacer Larbes. Slimane Hamid Brahima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chakib Zahouania in the 71st minute of play. Slimane Hamid Brahima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalida Zeghdoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Slimane Hamid Brahima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalida Zeghdoud in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Sparlingville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Ouadah came free, but Fodil Benbitour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nasser Brahimi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Fodil Benbitour made a huge save. In the 84th minute Khalida Zeghdoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slimane Hamid Brahima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Khalida Zeghdoud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nasser Brahimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fodil Benbitour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New Rochelle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
