When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Said Horr sped through Pageland AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Noureddine Sakhri. Pageland AFC's Noureddine Sakhri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camel Morceli in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Pageland AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Skif to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Said Horr in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noureddine Sakhri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salim Bouzid kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Noureddine Sakhri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camel Morceli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Pageland AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelmalek Liegeon. Gilles Medjiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hameur Bouzid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Camel Morceli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pageland AFC's Noureddine Sakhri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Said Horr struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Noureddine Sakhri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glen Cove. Said Horr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilles Medjiba to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilles Medjiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hameur Bouzid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Camel Morceli came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Glen Cove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camel Morceli couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Pageland AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Camel Morceli came free, but Noureddine Sakhri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Camel Morceli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noureddine Sakhri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Said Horr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Sakhri having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Pageland AFC's goalkeeper Noureddine Sakhri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Said Horr. Noureddine Sakhri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Said Horr in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pageland AFC's zone, Camel Morceli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Sakhri came out of the goal and Camel Morceli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Camel Morceli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Noureddine Sakhri, passed just outside the right post. In the 91st minute, Rachid Amara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rachid Amara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
