A collision led to GOLOLA FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hamid Azzizi-Kettab hit a great ball. GOLOLA FC's Bouabdellah Boniche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Ammour in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Larbi Saïd-Guerni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOLOLA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larbi Saïd-Guerni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Larbi Saïd-Guerni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Kateb Sadmi made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Mohamed Ben Mimoun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larbi Saïd-Guerni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kateb Sadmi having to interfere. When Gages Lake AFC's Ali Djebar in 23 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Bouabdellah Boniche guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 25 minutes into the match, Gages Lake AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Ben Mimoun came free, but Kateb Sadmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Hamid Azzizi-Kettab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rabah Cherrad charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rabah Cherrad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Gages Lake AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rabah Cherrad to maneuver through the defense. When Larbi Saïd-Guerni fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOLOLA FC's protests and gave Larbi Saïd-Guerni a yellow card for diving instead. Larbi Saïd-Guerni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kateb Sadmi having to interfere. Houari Mansouri hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Mohamed Ben Mimoun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gages Lake AFC's Kateb Sadmi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mohamed Ben Mimoun struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Kateb Sadmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOLOLA FC. The audience was convinced that Larbi Saïd-Guerni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kateb Sadmi was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ali Djebar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bouabdellah Boniche having to make a save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
