Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amine Bouteflika took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alain Messaoud didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. With his leg Alain Messaoud managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Mandan's Souad Sadaoui fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chaba Brahami kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mehdi Mami did an outstanding performance 9 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Larbi Fanon in the goal. Alain Messaoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amine Bouteflika in the 13th minute of play. When Mehdi Mami came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Eastgate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Mami couldn't finish the play. Robert Assad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Larbi Fanon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mandan defense, Fadhil Yacef kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Larbi Fanon. The Mandan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Larbi Fanon should have stopped the shot. Alain Messaoud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Souad Sadaoui in the 36th minute. Alain Messaoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amine Bouteflika in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Mandan's Souad Sadaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alain Messaoud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Souad Sadaoui kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alain Messaoud. That made the score 2-2 in the 42 minute of play. Alain Messaoud made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Yazid Larbi sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
In the 54th minute Amine Bouteflika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Messaoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chaba Brahami charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chaba Brahami the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Larbi Fanon went to the wrong direction when Mehdi Mami was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Mandan's Yazid Larbi got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Amine Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alain Messaoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Souad Sadaoui in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Mandan's Amine Bouteflika nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alain Messaoud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Robert Assad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Larbi Fanon made a huge save. Larbi Fanon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadhil Yacef, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Amine Bouteflika notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Eastgate FC's Alain Messaoud. Alain Messaoud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Souad Sadaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Messaoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Eastgate FC's zone, Amine Bouteflika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alain Messaoud came out of the goal and Amine Bouteflika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amine Bouteflika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alain Messaoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Yazid Larbi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandan and the Eastgate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Mandan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Larbi to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute, Robert Assad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mandan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Eastgate FC for a fine match.
