After having played for 9 minutes, Jean-Baptiste Sadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alorton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Baptiste Sadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cheb Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farès Otman hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cheb Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Makkeb having to interfere. Alorton FC's Jean-Baptiste Sadi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Breaux Bridge AFC booed when Alorton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farès Otman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheb Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Makkeb having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jussef Makkeb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Cheb Amri made a precise shot to the right of Alain Hima. Breaux Bridge AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. René Fadela kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Breaux Bridge AFC's Tedj Bessou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jussef Makkeb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 1-1 became the score in the 44th minute when Tedj Bessou elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cheb Amri made a kick off. Cheb Ziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alain Hima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Amri, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Cheb Ziani was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. René Fadela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes, Mohammad Camus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breaux Bridge AFC and the Alorton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alorton FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Breaux Bridge AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
