Souad Medjani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from El Saïd-Guerni in the 19th minute of the match. Abderaouf Cavalli might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kader Bencherif. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abderaouf Cavalli ran back to his position shaking his head. Kader Bencherif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Boniche in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Scarborough defense, Abderaouf Cavalli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kader Bencherif. Souad Medjani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hameur Djura, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
