Smail Iles helped the player get up and apologised. Smail Iles kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Smail Iles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Bey having to interfere. Liamine Ben Bella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehdi Prévost in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Coppell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Prévost to maneuver through the defense. Mehdi Prévost might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liamine Ben Bella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehdi Prévost ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmed Saïdi-Sief recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Birch Bay AFC's goalkeeper Liamine Ben Bella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nadir Mamouni lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 52 minutes into the game, one of Coppell:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Coppell's Mehdi Prévost got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Coppell defense, Krim Hamdoud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmed Bey. The Coppell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmed Bey should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Smail Iles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hemza Abdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmed Bey having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Ferhat Bahari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noureddine Ammour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ahmed Bey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Birch Bay AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
