Hemza Madouni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Zīn ud-Dīn Drid made a huge save. Hemza Madouni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zīn ud-Dīn Drid having to make a save. After 18 minutes, Kamel Rimitti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redskins F.C and the Hibbing FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kamel Rimitti kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hibbing FC's Knodi Saïd-Guerni got a free kick in the 19th minute. Kamel Rimitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lakhdar Feraoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Redskins F.C's zone, Fodil Ramdane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zīn ud-Dīn Drid came out of the goal and Fodil Ramdane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zīn ud-Dīn Drid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nabil Banouas in the 28th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nabil Banouas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zīn ud-Dīn Drid. That made the score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nabil Banouas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Redskins F.C's Zīn ud-Dīn Drid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nabil Banouas in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Redskins F.C's Karim Kourichi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karim Kourichi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Redskins F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karim Kourichi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Hibbing FC booed when Redskins F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Kourichi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Redskins F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Khabatou. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nabil Banouas in the 63rd minute of play forced Redskins F.C's goalkeeper Zīn ud-Dīn Drid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Cavalli might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lakhdar Feraoun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Cavalli ran back to his position shaking his head. Zīn ud-Dīn Drid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nabil Banouas in the 68th minute of play.
