The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to South Augusta getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Karim Meskine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Hamid in the 13th minute of the match. Robert Hamid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Old Bethpage booed when South Augusta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farid Teissier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Robert Hamid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Meskine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelhamid Saci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robert Hamid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Meskine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelhamid Saci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Hamid to make the kick off. In the 51st play minute Abdelhamid Saci came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karim Meskine. 0-1. South Augusta's Karim Meskine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Hamid in the 58th minute of play. Robert Hamid scored 0-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Meskine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Hamid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Hamid in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Meskine saved South Augusta from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Robert Hamid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karim Meskine was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. When Old Bethpage's Robert Hamid in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Augusta's goalie prevented a goal. Karim Meskine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Hamid's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Said Oussalah kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Karim Meskine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelhamid Saci in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Robert Hamid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Meskine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The South Augusta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Old Bethpage were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
