The supporters of South Augusta booed when West New York AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Khalef didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, South Augusta's goal looked a bit too open when El Djamel came free, but Karim Meskine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. West New York AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Augusta the free kick. Billel Belmellat hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Fouad Boulmerka kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. South Augusta's Mohamed Oussar got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, West New York AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhamid Ahmed came free, but Faouzi Ben Khalidi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Daho Hammad managed to get in a good position for a shot. West New York AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daho Hammad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Meskine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mansour Hanister kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Oussar made a kick off. Abdelhamid Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Ben Khalidi having to interfere. Abdelhamid Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faouzi Ben Khalidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Oussar in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, one of West New York AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for West New York AFC. The referee gave South Augusta a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Said Oussalah, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of West New York AFC's Faouzi Ben Khalidi. 0-1. South Augusta's Karim Meskine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daho Hammad in the 71st minute of play. In the 79th minute, Mohamed Oussar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faouzi Ben Khalidi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Oussar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mohamed Oussar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. Karim Meskine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daho Hammad's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Mohamed Oussar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Augusta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Oussar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faouzi Ben Khalidi was a little too slow when Mohamed Oussar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 100th minute. The score was now 0-2. The West New York AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. South Augusta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
