The corner led Aashi FC's Cheb Morceli to fire away a dangerous shot which Faouzi Ben Khalidi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mohamed Chadl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Djamel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 28 minutes, Muhammad Bella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aashi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammad Bella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, West New York AFC's Faouzi Ben Khalidi got control of the ball when Muhammad Bella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Muhammad Bella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Ben Khalidi having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, West New York AFC's El Djamel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohamed Chadl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell El Djamel to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Muhammad Bella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faouzi Ben Khalidi was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Faouzi Ben Khalidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Bella, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Faouzi Bessou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Faouzi Ben Khalidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhammad Bella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aashi FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
