Robert Hamid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adlène Achiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelhamid Saci in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Robert Hamid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adlène Achiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Hamid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Abdelhamid Saci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adlène Achiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Robert Hamid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adlène Achiou was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Old Bethpage's Robert Hamid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adlène Achiou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adlène Achiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Hamid in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Hamid to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind St. Albans's goalkeeper Adlène Achiou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Robert Hamid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Hamid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Rafik Hamrouche in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Old Bethpage's Maïssa Ramdani. A collision led to Old Bethpage getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Maïssa Ramdani hit a great ball. Abderaouf Morceli charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abderaouf Morceli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Hamid in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adlène Achiou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Old Bethpage fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Old Bethpage's Robert Hamid looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Robert Hamid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Adlène Achiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Robert Hamid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old Bethpage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Hamid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adlène Achiou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelhamid Saci's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Fodil Asma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
