In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taft Southwest AFC's goalkeeper Mokdad Skif, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Khalida Dahleb made the kick off in the second half. Mokdad Skif didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khalida Dahleb went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The Santee FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Taft Southwest AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
