Thanks to some nice moves Sofiane Hadj Aïssa could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Brahim Zafour however easily saved by the left post. After 20 played minutes New Freedom AFC got a freekick which was hit by Halim Raï. In the 24th minute, Woodfin AFC's Djamel Mansouri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brahim Zafour. Brahim Zafour yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Abdel Ben Bella, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Amar Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Mustapha Haddou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes New Freedom AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zīn ud-Dīn Belaout. Brahim Zafour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamel Mansouri, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Zīn ud-Dīn Belaout mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Freedom AFC and the Woodfin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, New Freedom AFC's Zīn ud-Dīn Belaout got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Djamel Mansouri was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cheb Benbitour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Freedom AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Amar Mansouri got free with Ahmed Rimitti in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, New Freedom AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Djamel Mansouri came free, but Brahim Zafour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zīn ud-Dīn Belaout hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Woodfin AFC booed when New Freedom AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Fadela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes, Woodfin AFC's Hamid Besseghir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brahim Zafour came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Woodfin AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Mansouri in the 82nd minute of play forced New Freedom AFC's goalkeeper Brahim Zafour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Woodfin AFC's Mustapha Haddou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brahim Zafour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a little luck, Woodfin AFC's Ahmed Rimitti got control of the ball when Amar Mansouri tried to sneak it across the goal line.
