An unexpectedly hard shot by Mouloud Yacef in the 22nd minute of play forced Berkeley's goalkeeper Hocine Tlemcani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Djamel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hocine Tlemcani. Berkeley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Amar Fahima put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hocine Tlemcani. Ahmed Saïd-Guerni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Yahia in the 29th minute of play. Amar Fahima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hocine Tlemcani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hocine Sifi in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmed Saïd-Guerni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Port Allegany FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yahia came free, but Ahmed Saïd-Guerni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Port Allegany FC's Mohamed Piaf got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Port Allegany FC's zone, Hamza Yahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Saïd-Guerni came out of the goal and Hamza Yahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hocine Sifi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mouloud Yacef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamza Yahia got free with Ahmed Saïd-Guerni in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mouloud Yacef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amar Fahima in the 60th minute of play forced Berkeley's goalkeeper Hocine Tlemcani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Port Allegany FC booed when Berkeley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nouredine Bencheikh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Saïd-Guerni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hocine Sifi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amar Fahima struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Hocine Tlemcani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Port Allegany FC. After 77 minutes of play, Port Allegany FC's Mouloud Yacef made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hocine Tlemcani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hocine Tlemcani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amar Fahima in the 82nd minute of play. Amar Fahima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hocine Tlemcani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mouloud Yacef in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hocine Tlemcani saved Berkeley from getting behind.
