Canadian AFC's Safy Arrache got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Smail Khendu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Abdel Hamid Aziz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamza Fahima was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Yacine Belfaa came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Canadian AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yacine Belfaa couldn't finish the play. Yacine Belfaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Safy Arrache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canadian AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Safy Arrache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafik Zoheir Hanin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes s2cionbir got a freekick which was hit by Kader Halimi. Rafik Zoheir Hanin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yacine Belfaa's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Smail Khendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
