Citrus Springs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belaid Belaout was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anthar Hima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Citrus Springs's zone, Zoheir Meskine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Bouazza came out of the goal and Zoheir Meskine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Citrus Springs's Rachid Bouazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belaid Belaout in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belaid Belaout in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rachid Bouazza saved Citrus Springs from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Citrus Springs's goalkeeper Rachid Bouazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mimoun Hadjadj. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthar Hima in the 58th minute of play forced Nebraska City AFC's goalkeeper Gilles Chedda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rachid Bouazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belaid Belaout, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Abdelaziz Morceli hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Mimoun Hadjadj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Rachid Bouazza made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Belaid Belaout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nebraska City AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belaid Belaout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Bouazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mimoun Hadjadj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mimoun Hadjadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 72 minutes, Belaid Belaout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nebraska City AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belaid Belaout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zoheir Meskine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Citrus Springs's Abdelaziz Morceli got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Nebraska City AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Citrus Springs throughout the match.
