The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ben Mamouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The long shot by Houari Reda Madouni in the 10th minute really tested Krim Lamine's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cherif Madjer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasreddine Daham in the 12th minute of the match. Ben El-Ouafi's late challenge caught a South Pasadena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben El-Ouafi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Ben El-Ouafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Mamouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cherif Madjer having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, South Pasadena's Nasreddine Daham made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cherif Madjer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the game, Ben Mamouni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Pasadena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wenatchee the free kick. After a rather tough play, South Pasadena's Ben Mamouni got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Nasreddine Daham managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Pasadena's supporters rose to their feet, but Nasreddine Daham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wenatchee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nasreddine Daham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim Abdenouz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Krim Lamine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazhar Djenia Lkbira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Ben El-Ouafi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Wenatchee's Ben El-Ouafi got a free kick in the 56th minute. Cherif Madjer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasreddine Daham in the 61st minute of play. Wenatchee's Cherif Madjer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Wenatchee from getting a goal against them. Wenatchee's Cherif Madjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasreddine Daham in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Nasreddine Daham dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cherif Madjer, 0-4. Ali Meskine struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Cherif Madjer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Pasadena. 88 minutes into the match, Ben Mamouni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cherif Madjer. Wenatchee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ben Mamouni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. South Pasadena's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
