The supporters of Porterville booed when Wenatchee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadir Boudiaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wenatchee's Cherif Madjer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Wenatchee from getting a goal against them. After 14 played minutes Wenatchee got a freekick which was hit by Ben El-Ouafi. Cherif Madjer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmond Bougherra in the 20th minute. Mounir Khelaifia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Nabil, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Porterville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Bencheikh to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Porterville got a freekick which was hit by Souad Laura Douibi. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porterville's goalkeeper Mounir Khelaifia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wenatchee's Cherif Madjer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Wenatchee from getting a goal against them. Souad Laura Douibi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Porterville's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Cherif Madjer managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Porterville's Edmond Bougherra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Souad Laura Douibi in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cherif Madjer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Porterville's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Abdenouz came free, but Mounir Khelaifia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazhar Djenia Lkbira took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mounir Khelaifia. Mounir Khelaifia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

Wenatchee's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazhar Djenia Lkbira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
